Solid stream nozzle selection table
The table below summarises much of the information in the solid stream spray pattern nozzle section of the SNP website. It is intended to be a handy reference guide to aid nozzle selection. Full data on each of the nozzles listed can be accessed by clicking on the boxes in the left hand column of the table below. The PDF's will open in a separate browser tab to allow easy comparison of products.
Nozzle Type | Design Type | Notes | Max Pressure rating (Bar) |
| Standard solid stream | | 30 |
| Low profile | Low profile High impact | 30 |
| Low profile | Available with ruby and ceramic orifice High impact | 65 |
| Enhanced laminar flow | Available with ruby and ceramic orifice Very high impact | 17.3 (Metal) * 65 (Ruby or ceramic) * |
| Enhanced laminar flow | Available with ruby and ceramic orifice Very high impact | 17.3 (Metal) * 65 (Ruby or ceramic) * |
*The pressure ratings for Trim nozzles represent the point at which the jet looses its laminar flow. The actual nozzle failure pressure is much higher than this.
