Fire protection systems

These spraying systems are not designed to extinguish the fire but are used to protect assets from the effects of fire.  For example a spray direction onto a tank of volatile chemicals may be applied to prevent them from overheating in the event of a fire, or to provide a "fire corridor" to allow humans to escape from an area.
