Nozzles for lubrication
Engineering consideration - Controlled measured spraying
Effective lubrication is about delivering the correct amount of lubricant to the correct area. Lubricant that falls outside the target area is simply wasted but also applying too much lubricant to the wrong area is equally wasteful. Ideally then a spray that delivers a uniform amount of spray to an exact area is required.
In order to achieve uniformity a relatively fine spray is desirable. Very fine sprays tend to be more homogenous and hence will deliver more uniform coatings of lubricants.
