Tank cleaning machines
The cleaning of mixers, vats and vessels is a common application in bakeries. SNP has a wide range of tank cleaning nozzles suitable for any sized vessel and any residue. This ranges from simple and cost-effective spray balls for lighter residues, all the way through to powerful rotary jet cleaners for tough vessels or large tanks. We have tank cleaning heads suitable for cleaning dough mixers, filling storage vats (jams, etc), coating storage/blending tanks and any other vessel found in a bakery.
Any environment and any residue
Our broad range of tank cleaning heads and nozzles are suitable for any sized tank and can be used to clean almost any conceivable residue. We have fully hygienic, self-cleaning systems suitable for food processing, pharmaceutical and other hygienic applications. Additionally, we have ATEX certified tank cleaning systems suitable for use in all ATEX zones. And finally, we have systems that are able to handle highly aggressive environments such as acid tanks.
We also offer a system for easy cleaning of Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) which facilitates cleaning in-house where a suitable water supply is available. Our IBC Cleaning Solution comprises a lance, lids and a cleaning head (we recommend the Orbitor Eco for a super-fast cleaning cycle of just 3 minutes, but any tank cleaning nozzle head can be used). Types of product
Our products are broken down into four main categories.
Static nozzles – These include very wide angle spiral nozzles as well manifolds of nozzles giving an omnidirectional cleaning spray, suitable for tanks up to 4 metres in diameter. This range also now includes the new HydroClaw clog-resistant tankcleaner.
Spray balls – A wide variety of static (non-rotating) spray balls that deliver micro-jets in 360o, 180o up or 180o down patterns. Suitable for tanks up to 5 metres in diameter
Rotary spray balls – A large range of rotary fan tank cleaners including all PTFE rotary tank cleaners for use in aggressive environments. Suitable for tanks up to 5.5 metres in diameter
Rotary jet – Powerful tank cleaners for bigger tanks and/or tough residues. Available as hygienic or industrial (non-hygienic) designs, a variety of cleaning patterns and flow rate. Suitable for tanks up to 50 metres in diameter.
Fast cycle rotary jet - The Orbitor 100 VFC is a new breed of impingement tank cleaner designed to vastly improve water and a time efficiency. Unlike conventional impingement cleaners which have been geared for power, this tank cleaning head has been geared to produce a very fast cleaning cycle that uses very little water.
IBC cleaning solution - This includes a lance and lids which can be used with any cleaning head although we recommend the Orbitor Eco to reduce cleaning times to as low as 3 minutes per IBC. This is an excellent alternative to outsourcing IBC cleaning as it can easily be installed in-house where a suitable water supply and pressure is available.
